First time @ the track with new set-up..opinions?

So I hit the track this past Thursday. Its a 1/8th (Irwindale) of a mile track And was curious in your opinion in choosing the correct size Slick's.
Set-up:
96 Ek Hatch.. Full interior(not gutted)
JDM GSR trans w/LSD
B18c
81mm JE Pistons 9.5:1
Eagle Rods
Balanced & micropolished Crank
GSR Head
Victor-X IM
RC 550cc's injectors
CTR Cams
RamHorn Manifold
Garret 50trim T3/T4 turbo
Made 281whp & 209tq @ Do it Dyno(Bubba) on 8psi

My fastest time was an 8.4 @ 91mph on 195/45/16 RT615's
Spinning all 1st,2nd & half of 3rd.. & feathering it
I want to get into the mid/high 7's
I just want some suggestions on what size slick would be best for my set-up

23 x 8 x 13s would be great for your setup. Until you are making more power you won't need 24.5s. 24.5s would also make your gears a little long for the power level you are on. I ran 23 x 7.5 x 15's on my car up to 350whp and still cut 1.72 60s w/o 2step all day long with old worn out slicks.

so i just picked up some 24.5x8x13 M/T slicks..
hopefully I'll be able to hit the track this Thursday... if not then next week..
