Default help with power to ecu

yesterday after work i try to start my car it wouldnt start. when i turn my car on on position. the CEl light dont come on but when i slam my passanger door the cel come back on. but once i try to start the car the CEL goes away. also when i try to pound on my intake box CEl come on also but once i try to start it it goes away . but when i pound on intake box and i get lucky enough the car start up? what cound it be? i though it was the starter i replaced it 3 time and i has a new battery. i have a 2000 honda civic ex auto.

it almost sounds like oyur ECU plugins are not clipped in or somthing.

i tried unpluging it and plug it back in still the same

Maybe Is That A Ground Wire Is Lose.

ground from the battery? i checked that unplug and plug it back in tighen

Check whether the ground on the thermostat housing is loose or corroded.

Next check whether hood fuse 44 or dash fuses 31 or 13 are loose.

is it a gauge wire to the thermostat housing? by the chance can someone post a picture of how it look like. thank you

oh thanks for the help. ill try to sand the terminal see how it goes. can i also ask you where you get that picture from that seem kind of helpful for me to track on the engine harness.

also can the wire inside the engine harness is cut or something? but from looking from the housing of the harness it never been touch or anything.
