Type R wing
ok so i got a 97 integra gsr and it has the gsr wing on it but i would like to put a type r wing on the back. So the question is does it use the same hole on the gsr wing to the type r wing ? I DONT want drill new holes.
Thank for the help

There will be a larger diameter hole left over after swapping the spoiler for the ITR wing, this is the hole that the wiring for the third brake light in the old wing passes thru, which they do sell plugs for from acura i believe
^ correct there is two holes on one side and three on the other, the type r has no third on the one so there will be need of a plug. this hole is almost not even visible, it sticks out about half way from under the wing. the plugs do just fine.
cheapest typeR wing i think or seen so far:

^Cause he doesn't know wtf he talking about! Its a direct bolt on, but like stated above there will be a small hole (from gsr wing wires) which can be easily pluged up.
Its on of the most popular exterior mods for g3 teg.

alright i have one on my 97 gsr. stock OEM Itr wing onto a gsr. direct bolt on and yes there will be a hole for the wires that go for the gsr wing wires but you can just cover it up with tape or buy a plug for it.
Does your car have a third brake light in the rear window? I realize you had a GSR spoilier on your car, so the light on there acted as your third light, but a lot of cars with spoiliers have the third light in the rear windshield and it just doesn't work until you wire it.
FYI the ITR spoilier doesn't have a brake light in it, If yours has one it isn't OEM.
