heater/AC works for awhile after a bump
The heater/AC fan in my 1994 Honda Accord LX station wagon works for awhile only after I hit a big bump in the road. We replaced the control that the ***** are attached to and it worked fine for a few months.
Anyone have any similar experience that has been able to fix this problem?

Sounds like a bad blower motor to me. The bumps are jarring the motor, which can sometimes cause them to start running. It's actually a fairly common "fix" to smack the blower motor housing to get it going again. Ultimately, though, the blower motor will need to be replaced.
We spent some time last night working on the Honda, and you are 100% correct. It is the blower motor that is having issues. The Blower motor is directly above the passenger's right foot and if we tap it with the big end of a screwdriver, it will start up every time. Not even a very big smack, just a slight tiny little tap and it starts right up.
We did take the dash apart and checked out all the connections on the AC/Heater control unit and it was all fine.
Next, we took the blower motor out, it is easy to remove, takes about 5 minutes, only 3 screws holding it in. We blew it out with an air compressor. Ton's of dust blew out, and it does start up now by itself about 75% of the time, which is a great improvement, but we have to tap it the other 25% of the time to get it working. It is making some noise when it turns. Just slightly irritating.
My last question: is there any way to apply a light oil the blower motor and get it to turn a bit quieter and better?

The blower motor can be disassembled and parts replaced. You might be able to find a blower motor from a salvage yard to replace yours.
If you want to see new parts prices, go to Majestic Honda.

OK, wow! Thanks for the diagram and the info and the quick reply!
I suspect, probably the easy way is to go visit a few salvage yards. Or an online used parts company for a used blower motor. I'll check the new cost out too.
Thanks :-)
