what up honda tech i got a my srs & abs light on in my 94 hatch...i want to remove them any suggestions?

Bump.. My SRS light is on too

 

removing the abs light is easy. Take the cluster out and there is a black plastic thing directly behind the abs light, rotate and take it out. As for the SRS its harder and you have to remove the needles and faces and pull out.

 

The SRS and ABS are important safety features for your Civic, so why not pull the codes and attempt to fix the problems?

 

yes but he could have done an airbag delete or aftermarket steering wheel.
If so the only way is to remove the bulb or use a resistor.
And OP why do you need ABS light removed. Is there a problem or did you disconnect ABS.

 

Lol I didn't want to take the bulb out... I could do that. I wanted to know how to read the code and find out how to reset it. I have a code reader that does obd 0, 1, and 2. I havn't tried that because I don't think it will read a SRS light only CELs.
