Leather-wrapped SRS/Cruise Control steering wheel for EG?
Awhile ago, I purchased a black leather-wrapped steering wheel with SRS and cruise control. This is the 4-prong model w/airbag. The leather-wrapping looks factory...not like an aftermarket job. The person I bought it from stated that it was an original EG leather-wrapped wheel. I'm just curious if this animal really existed, or if it's just a really good aftermarket wrap? I've heard that some Canadian models had leather wrapped wheels, as well as SiR-S models in Japan and Europe, but I thought the SiR-S models were 3-spoke non-SRS wheels. Anyone out there know?

Your leather-wrapped steering wheel is not a USDM or CDM OEM Honda Civic part. It is, however, and without seeing a photo of it, probably still an OEM Honda/Acura part.
Likely, it is an Acura Integra GSR or Type-R OEM leather-wrapped wheel, with a black Honda Civic airbag. The parts are completely interchangeable to/from both wheels, including the airbags. I performed a similar mod on my CDM Honda Civic with a non-SRS wheel w/ cruise (very rare, incidentally). These are the results:

No Canadian 5th Gen Honda Civics had a factory leather wheel. It's possible that a 4-prong leather wrapped SRS wheel existed in Japan or Europe, however these markets did not have cruise control (except for some 4-doors in Belgium, and didn't come in black AFAIK). Typically, though, leather trim occurred on the various up-market versions of the Civic, and these models usually eschewed SRS in favour of weight savings, therefore receiving the 3-prong wheel.

Yours looks exactly like my wheel with the exception of the SRS bag. I suspected that it was probably an Acura wheel w/Honda airbag. That's cool...it feels a lot better than the stock wheel under my hands and I get to keep SRS, which is important to me.

^^ Agreed. The leather is a nice feel and it is a good idea to keep the SRS functionality.
To clarify, my CDM Civic does not have SRS, so you can imagine the difficulty I had in trying to acquire that wheel. Actually, I had to piece together OEM parts from 3 different wheels to get that final product.
I firmly believe that if Honda had offered a leather-wrapped wheel for the Civic in Canada or the US (as they did in other markets), this is what it would look like.
