2002 Civic climate fault code 9
Hi All,
I have a 2002 Civic LX 144K that the heat quit working. Lots of air, just blows cold. I flushed the heater core, diverter valve working fine, changed thermostat, but still blows cold. No leaks. I tested the climate control system and a fault code of 9 came up. Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

1. Test the air mix control motor.
- Does it work?
Yes: Swap your heater control panel with one that works. If the problem goes away, replace your original hcp.
No: Go to step 2
2. Remove the air mix control motor.
3. Test the amc linkage and door for smooth movement.
- Do the linkage and door move smoothly?
Yes: Replace the air mix control motor.
No: Repair the air mix control linkage and door.
