Need your thougts. painting jdm type r red?
hey guys, kinda curious what you guys think. i have been trying to sell my 98 jdm type r but doesnt seem like anyone wants to buy anything right now. Well i have been wanting a milano red ITR for quit some time, before i decided to buy this one, i was too late on buying the one they had. So, now im thinking of keeping the car and painting it milano red. what do you guys think. Am i making a dumb move, should i just deal with it being white? here is a pic of it how it sits now.
True but it's a JDM car it's not like there aren't 25k more of them out there around the world. If it was USDM I would have said no way, but being that it is JDM I say go for it.

From the pictures you provided it looks clean and like it doesn't need a paint job. If it is as clean as it looks, then keep it original. If you do repaint it, do it right and gut the car and paint everything! MR is nice though
car looks clean keep it white, but its your car... its a lot of work to do it the right way plus hard to find some one to do it the right way and to do a good job...
Be unique..don't jump on the bandwagon! My friends hated it when I paired my white eg with some red konig britelites but too hell with them..i loved it haha
what are you talking about when you say only? the only one in his town?
i love the r81, but consider the red with the red recaros too much red imo. If you have the money for it and considering keeping it for the next decade go for it.
Milano red was offered on the '98 Spec JDM Type-Rx. Like silver, red is the most rare color to see on an ITR, but they out there, two in the US as far as i know, a close friend of mine actually has one.
like this. Not just Rx but all R's after 1998> It'd be cool IF done right, (engine bay, behind the gas panel, EVERYWHERE)
