For all the hatchie owners here (I know there are tonnes, get out here ), are there any specific quirks or inconsistencies (in build-quality, etc.) that i should take notice of in the car?

I've looked at standard stuff already, like underbody, engine, condition of body panels and plastics, trunk (hydraulics and latches), locks, muffler, interior (cloth, seats, trim).... it all looks okay so far.

Any advice out there for me? Thanks in advance to all!

 

Look at condition of oil.....

 

Oh sorry forgot to mention that, already done (did that with the "engine")

 

check for tranny leaks... make sure all lights work... ask for service records...

 

i always have the person im buying the car from drive it first and i ride shot gun that way i can see how he/she drives it, and keep my ears open for any strange noises. i dont tell them thats why im riding shot gun though so that they will drive it normal.
