Well I picked up a 91 integra (automatic) not to long ago and my problem is that when I step on the brakes, my back tail lights don't turn on but when i turn on the lights, the front headlights and back tail light goes on, but when i still press on the brake it doesn't light up. What could cause this problem? The light bulb are new to btw.
Another question, Whenever I'm done driving the car, I put the car in (P), it parks perfectly fine. Turn off the car and turn it back on and than when I try to go from (P) to (D), the stick is stuck at (P). I have to manually unlock the trans with the key to go in neutral while the car is off, turn on the car in neutral and than go into (R) or (D).

- Brake Lights don't work
- Trans is trying to be a "manual"

 

i have an automatic DA and it will stick in P when the weather is very cold, i.e. snow. i found that warming up the car helps a little, but it also helps to apply the brake firmly and jiggle the stick, continuing to press it haha it works for me. other than that i don't know what causes it.
