91 integra rubbing noise
I just bought a 91 da integra. It has a newer integra b18 in it. At low speeds (first through third gear) there is a rubbing/scraping noise coming from what seems to be the passenger side. It sounds as if the noise is coming from something that is turning, because the noise is repetative. Also, the noise only occurs when im giving it gas, but when i push the clutch in, the noise stops. So basically the noise only happens when the car is moving and its being given gas. Any ideas anybody? Wheel bearing, axle boot? Or could it be something a little more serious? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Yeah, the noise is like that of something rubbing, but whatever is rubbing is something that turns because at low speeds while giving the car a little bit of gas you can hear the noise, but when i let off the gas the noise stops. Any ideas?
