Is a lower tie bar worth it?
Hey,
I'm trying to weed through all the hype and marketing ploys to aquire the best suspension setup for my DC. I just bought the Benen Tripod Strut Bar and am very impressed with the fit and finish. I was going to buy their lower tie bar, but wanted to get some opinions from people who know a lot more than me about what works and what doesn't. I have HKS Hypermax coilovers, Benen tripod, and that's it. I'm going to get an ITR rear strut bar with the beaks kit. Should I skip the lower tie bar all together, or is it a worth while purchase? I know a lot of people buy things for "bling", but I could care less about that.

I think you mean sway bar. And sway bars are way more effective than strut/tie bars. You could look into something like the ASR sway bar/lower tie bar combo. Tie bars do help but should be of lower priority than coilovers or sway bars. Use them to complete your setup after everything else is done
If you get the asr subframe brace (or even a knockoff obx) it will suit both purposes of reinforcement and lower tie bar
Plus you can get good prices on the sway bar and subframe combo
