Warming up problem
i got a 95 accord ex. i just changed the coolant. after bleeding the line, i turn the car on and wait for it to warm up and the fans to kick on. i wait forever and they still dont. i know they work. ive heard them before. i waited like 15-20 min. they temp was about 1/3 below half like usual and everything seemed fine. why wouldnt they come on? thanks

Sometimes a large bubble gets trapped, leaving the fan sensors uncovered. You may have to purge (belch) the cooling system to get it completely filled.
P
i did that. i bled the system right before i started the . i dnt really remember but i thought purging it had something to do with taking the radiator cap off and refilling it with coolant or something like that. i dnt really remember at all ha

all kidding aside P is right, air in the system
take the cap off, fill the rad, start the car, add coolant to bring the level up to full and watch for the next 3 mins and add coolant as needed to rad. replace cap and then add coolant to the overflow tank to the high mark and then open bleeder on the top of the t-stat slighly and let the bubbles out. keep the bleeder open until all the bubbles are out, close bleeder, check car 4 hours later and add coolant to overflow as needed to bring up to the max mark when engine is hot
right now with the car off, the radiator is full all the way so i would i still have to do all of that? or does it lose alot when its on? and if i do hav to do all of that, do i put the radiator cap on before i bleed it? thanks
