like the topic said, i am helping a friend out with his h22 swap form obd2 motor in to obd1 car. i got the motor in the car, but can not get it to start, i thing i have wiring problem,
everything is origianl including the wiring harness, still on obd2 motor into 92 prelude. do i need to swap out the wiring harness from obd2 into obd1? can yall help me out.

 

have you got any help with your swap i did the same swap but mine wont turn on either i used the f22 wiring haness under the dash and the h22 engine bay harness for the motor so it wontstart do you know what i can do

 

have to use your 92 engine harness (should be your f22 engine harness, not the h22), then wire iab, vtec and knock sensor separately

 

You also need an OBD1 Distributor

 

Damn, I just painted a 92 Prelude which had an h22a4 motor in it. I know he's running a chipped p28, but don't exactly recall what harness he's using. I'm also located in Arlington, and can find out for you. Actually, go to www.ntpog.org/forums, and PM ludeanduncalledfor cause he has this swap in his car
