get a probe, a wiring diagram, and have at it. No real way to be sure what it is unless you get a diagram from where the wires come from.

That is some ugly wiring job. I would try to find each wire that they cut and pair them up one color at a time. Be sure to get a wiring diagram so you can check and cross them off on the ones you had to splice together. Also, use solder and heatshrink because you don't want to have any problems with loose connections.

 

Don't remove that box, it's the flux capacitor and the car won't run without it.

It must be keyles entry now that I think of it. It says FCC compliant and the alarm has keyless entry. I'm trying to figure out where would the starter kill connect if it were being used. Would it connect to where the key solenoid is?

it may help to look at your starter in your engine bay, my kill switch was wired right to the wiring on the starter, then ran through my car, maybe that will help. But yours looks like it is going to be wired in. GL with this Long and overly tedious process

 

Why couldn't you call it "Hillbilly rigged" I definitely think it would be more appropriate.
