Default need help to figure out what master cylinder to use

i have a 98 cx hatch with a b16, it has 96 gsr rear disk brakes and the stock cx front brakes for now. i just bought a civic si brake booster to replace the dead one the car had in it but when i was changing that i noticed the paint on the old booster was peeling off only where the mc was so i figured it was leaking fluid so i am going to replace it but i need to know king of mc i should go with. i dont want to get one thats too big and have a hard brake pedal but at the same time i dont want to go to small and have a really soft pedal of horrible braking. i also plan to upgrade to the civic si front brakes and lower control arms in the near future. what do you guys think.

You can get the si one which is 7/8th along with the brake booster or the 98+ integra one which is 1inch.

No, it should be perfect with the si front and gsr rears.

The 99-00 Si master cylinder is a perfect fit.

Ok I got an ex mc because the si m was for abs and I don't have abs but the brake lines hook up in different places. This is going on an si booster but it's going into a civic cx so I need to know what will hook up to my brake lines and work. Does the abs mc make a difference if I don't have abs. Thanks a bunch for your help!!!

The ex one is the one with abs not the si. I don't think the master cylinder messes with the abs, only the proportional valve.

I think your right but as fir the abs the guys at autozone and advanced autoparts had the si listed for use with abs and they had the ex with and without abs do I went with the 7/8 just like the si just from an ex instead and I just looke at my old mc again and the lines should fit right up no problems
