leakin bead

Default leakin bead

I have 25x9x15 slicks and im tryin to mount them on rota slips 7.5x15. Im having trouble getting the bead to seal i have tried cleaning them and no luck. Would i be better running tubes or no tubes?

well they normally require tubes, but most don't run them. I have my 13" drag wheels for my slicks, and mine leak, but they hold air for the night, just slowly leak out. They are going to be like that unless you put tubes in them. If it's leaking bad, maybe the bead is broke? You can also try a tire place, they have bead sealer you can try. Some sort of goo they throw in there and goes to the leak, almost like that tire slime or what not......
