Default b18b1 turbo eg. ecu not chipped or tuned. ?

awhile back i had my eg broken into and robbed for parts. they left all the turbo pieces though and since then ive been swapping what they left onto another civic with a b18 and a p75 ecu

im getting anxious about swapping the turbo over because.. well i miss it.
how boned will i be if i just slap the turbo on without chipping or tuning

the reason i ask is because im too broke right now to afford a tune and every time i pop the hood the turbo is starting me in the face

Pretty "boned", unless you are looking to replace the engine anyway.

i guess i was hoping someone would have some magical way to run it. i'll try to stifle the urge until i can afford the chip & tune.

A check valve and a rising rate regulator was the way they used to do it, but if you're going to spend money, just get the tune.
