Ppl with B20 swaps...what intake manifold, fuel rail, injectors, etc did you use?

Are these problems only for the B20Z? Did you JDM B20B guys have this problem?
What about USDM B20Bs?

don't know if my setup applies here, but..
i'm running a 99 b20z w/ 90 LS intake manifold, LS rail and injectors, stock b16a exhaust manifold and Y1 tranny. i would think that the issues b20guy was having could be avoided if he uses a complete LS intake manifold w/ LS throttle body, LS fuel rail and LS injectors.

That I would have done, except when I bought my manifold it came bare. So I was seeing what would work, more like hoping, but anyway.
I picked up a bare GSR fuel rail, but that was before I knew about the injector problem. Now I have a 96 LS rail with FPR and injectors coming. So anyone need a GSR rail with FPR?

I have a 00 b20z and am using my stock 92 LS manifold, fuel rail, and injectors. No problems with that setup.
I am in the prosses of doing this now 97 usdm b20b4 using a 95 ls intake manifold got it in the basment what it looks like to me is that the b20 fule rail will bolt to this manifold but ls im has three studs and b20 fule rail only has two holes. Dont know if ill redrill the hole in the fule rail or cut the third(middle) stud off only thing withe redrilling is that there are spacers that alow the injectors to work and i only got two of those, anyway it looks like a hot topic ill try to let everyone know what i find out.
I redrilled the B20B fuel rail to fit onto a 97 LS manifold..You'll need to drill a middle hole and widen the other two a little. It will work, just measure twice, cut once, and no matter what it will still look DIY (
). I used some little fiber washers on the studs, more for heat shielding...im also using Eclipse injectors.

Also I got the B20 Injectors to fit in there (LS Manifold) with the B20 fuel rail, I can't remember which o-rings I used though, cause the B18B and B20B have different size o-rings...height wise. The B20 injectors look alot cooler than the teg ones...very beefy looking...also why does the Integra come with that dinky cast fuel rail but honda's....even D15's have that nice billet one!?!?!
Another thing about the B20, at least the B20B, the Throttle body is alot smaller than an LS one, Id say a good 2-3mm. Definently use at least a LS throttle body, and you should use an LS manifold...I got one from a performance shop complete with injectors and sensors and throttle body for $100, honestly they don't want those things. I measured the outside of the throttle bodys and even if you bored out the B20 one it would still only be as big as a LS, just alot thinner walled.
i blew my ls motor awhile back
since then i got a b20b and used EVERYTHING off my blown ls motor (distrubutor, wiring harness, im, tb, headers, etc) motor works fine, top end sux

btw, is the b20b tb really smaller? i measured the b18b and the b20b and they were exactly the same (so i thought), jus a lil iffy cuz i'm using a b20b tb ryte now, broke the b18b tps pulling out the motor
one last thing. are the injectors even different? they look the same me, haha. cept that my b20 injectors were kindda rusted (thas wat happens when it lays on a ship across the pacific i guess)

i am doing B20B plus B16A head and have not yet confirmed that a B16A ex mani. will be OK...

A B20 block is identical physically in size to a LS block. You wont have any clearance issues.
heres an up date as you all will see I am using 97 usdm b20b4 fule rail on 95 ls IM and the injectors worked great after i inlarged the two outer holes i haent drilled the center hole and dont think i am the b20 im only had two studs so i may just leave it be. As for the height of the injectors i just replaced the stock b20 fule rail spacers with a few washers and seames to be fine guess i wont know untill i get i pressured up but i hope it works so i dont have to spend 130$ on a aftermarket fule rail.

what i am probably doing is use the b20 block build up the internals (crank,rods,pistons) slap a b16a head on it with the combustion chamber matched to it. With my skunk 2 intake manifold and redo the valvetrain (retainers,springs,etc.) and also put cams in it.

So did you have this problem: "3. The B20Z throttle body pulley (lever) is oriented wrong. (The cable pulls from the passenger side, not the driver side like the LS) I guess I'll be looking for an LS one." -B20Guy

I'm probably just goingt to change out the spring and lever on the throttlebody, not the whole TB itself, looks like an EX or LS will work. I'm gonna go out to one of those pick and pull your parts places for those items. You should be able to tell if yours will work or not. The "hole" for the throttle cable on mine was in the 4 o'clock position, should be like 9 - 11 o'clock position.
the tb lever is the exact same as a ls i think, maybe it was a lil different, i remembered when i hooked up the throttle cable the throttle plate wouldnt close all the way, but did a lil ghetto custom fab and got it to work. btw, w/ the tb there's two way to hook it up. look on it and u'll see.
just a question from the other side (ie exhaust side)

So MugenGTR, did you switch the spring part with one off an LS throttle body, or did you use only the B20 tb?
the JDM B20B has two different throtle body/intake manifold set-ups. every one is confusing things here!!
if you have the high rise manifold, then yes the T/B is smaller then that of a B18A/B and the plate on the t/b is similar to the GSR one, as in the throtle cable must pull from the left side(your left if standing in front of the car).
if you have the low rise B20B intae manifold then the t/b is exactly the same as AUTOMATIC B18A/Bs.
