b20 injectors vs. OBD2 LS injectors
Can someone please measure an injector from an obd2 LS from tip to tip? (length)
I am trying to use 2001 b20 injectors with a 95 gsr fuel rail and 96 ls manifold. The problem is, once I seat the fuel rail, it seems that the injectors are 1 cm too short (to make the seal).
The b20 injectors are 6.5 cm long (2 - 9/16")
So I'm trying to find out if the problem is the rail, or injectors.
Thanks!

Just some things I've figured out about using B20Z stuff with LS manifold...
Keep in mind the B20Z I'm referring to is a 2001 one and the LS is a 96-98.
1. B20Z injectors are 2 9/16" long, LS are 2 15/16" long. In other words, you can't use the B20 injectors with LS/GSR rail and LS manifold. Too short, doesn't make the seal.
2. The B20Z fuel rail is worthless on an LS manifold. Studs are all different, even drilling wouldn't be worth it.
3. The B20Z throttle body pulley (lever) is oriented wrong. (The cable pulls from the passenger side, not the driver side like the LS) I guess I'll be looking for an LS one.
4. The IAT sensor is a threaded type not a 2 screw bolt-on type. So you would have to either thread a new hole into your LS manifold, get the LS IAT sensor or use the DX/Si style one on the intake tube and plug the hole where the stock LS one goes.
5. On my LS manifold there is a hole on the top for the evap purge solenoid valve. I am going to use the B20 evap, so what I did was pull the brake booster vacuum port from the B20Z manifold(extra), and JB weld it into that hole for an extra vacuum on the LS manifold.
HTH someone else and thanks to boosted3g for getting me some measurements on the LS injectors (and JV)

the injectors on my jdm b20b are the exact same size as my '90 ls injectors. They just have different plugs. the fuel rail won't swap here either. Two studs are the wrong size.

get a aem fuel rail and rc injectors, problem solved, hahahahaha. i know for a fact that a ls fuel rail w/ ls injector, on an ls manifold works
i think we all knew that one, haha
