Default notchy shifting gsr teg

ive searched the forums and found some results but nothing can really answer my question.

I have a 2000 Integra GSR with stock motor and trans (126,000miles) recently ive been getting some notchy shifting.

my MT fluid is good.
my clutch fluid is good and has been bled.
its shifts nice and smooth under 3000rpms but the high the rev the harder it is to get into gear in any gear. also ive noticed the dropping 3rd at 60mph can only be done by rev matching and bringing the motor at or above 3500rpms.

my friend who has worked on hondas for over 8 years says its my synchros and i need a new tranny. could it not simply be my clutch?

please, help me out here guys. thanks.

Check CMC and CSC for leaks. Check the clutch fork for full travel. If those are good, look at the clutch. If that is good then there could be a few things inside the trans that are bad.

ok good info. thanks for your response. I think I'll take the car to my other friend that owns a Tune-Up Plus to have them diagnose the problem. I'll let him know to check the MC and SC for leaks as well as the clutch fork.

You can check all of that on your own. Look under the dash at the top of the clutch pedal for the CMC, and the CSC and fork are on the front of the trans.
