Heater problem... kinda weird...pic's
Ok heres the deal, kinda long so i'll leave cliffs at the bottom if you want to read those.
My car is a 94 LS with a GSR swap. So the radiator in my car took a crap on me so I figured i'd change the radiator and thermostat at the same time (the heater is working at this time). When I went to change them I noticed the hose that goes from the head to the heater had a small hole in it near where it connects to the head (pic at bottom). So I snipped about a inch off of it and put it back on, didn't stretch or anything.
I then put the thermostat in, radiator and put new coolant in it. Started it and realized the gasket for the thermostat didn't stay where it was supposed too and I closed the thermostat housing on it. Took the thermostat off again, got a new gasket and put everything together again.
Turned the car on filled the radiator with coolant again, turned the heater on full blast and got jack ****, the air is luke warm at best.
The thermostat is a honda oem replacement. Theres no leaks, the system is full of coolant, and now I have no heat. Keep in mind before I took the hose off the heater was hot enough to cook a egg, so I know its not the heater core. The car warms up correctly and dosen't stay cold or hot, it runs perfect really.
The only thing I can think of is drain all the liquids again, flush it and start again?
Anyone have this happen? ANY help or ideas are greatly apprciated... Thank you

check the silver wire that resembles that of a clothes hanger
it's on the top of the housing where the hose goes into the firewall
that wire runs from there to the climate control
if anything is loose or out of place (this can happen), then your climate control is useless

ur heater core is air locked....when the car is cool...open the radiator cap and let the car run and warm up...air should make its way through the system....u can help it alittle bit by occasionally squeezing the upper radiator hose a bit
Ok. Bled the system twice. Took the cap off, turned the car on pinched hoses and let it run for about 20 minutes. Added coolant as needed. Drove down the highway and got nothing, everything has stayed exactly the same... Any more ideas?

it stays exactly where it's supposed to be, it warms up perfectly and does not even touch the half-way mark. It dosen't under heat either.. esentially it runs perfect.
your talking about the wire that goes from the climate control to the heater core.. and the wire that goes to the coolant hose corect? If you are they've been checked, and are functioning,,,
interesting, maybe i need to check out my engine harness or something?
