Default jdm gsr motor

Hi guys i have a question in regards of swapping a motor.

Car: 1997 integra 0bd2

im concerned about dropping in a JDM GSR 0bd2 motor in.

What tweaks would i have to do to make the swap done right?
Wiring: does it need to be lengthen?

OR what if i buy a 0bd1 JDM GSR motor

What would be needed to make the car run like it would swapped.

I know it bolts right on, is there additional sensors or wiring that i have to mess with?

Thanks in advance, Tuan

Be specific in what you want.

Question: is your car a gsr, ls, or zc dual cam?

if you currently have an ls or zc, then you would have to wire for vtec. your best bet will be to use the obd1 harness for an obd1 swap. it will simplify the wiring for you if you plan to do it yourself.

if you have specific quetions feel free to ask.

I put a b18c in my 95 gsr. My only issue was with using the jdm ecu there was a speed limiter (not that big a deal). I put my b18c1 in my friends LS and had to add around 5 wires.
vtec selenoid to A4
vtec oil pressure to ds
vtec ground
knock sensor to d3
secondary intake to a17

Swap motor make mistakes. Learn your ****ing self.

Its straight forward, the only time you have issues is if you swap OBDs and then its only minor.

I'm just planning ahead, but thanks for the advice dick.

The car is obd2 with a B20 swap.

Everything is stock.

Now i just want to know if the jdm wiring harness, is it needed?
How would i have to modify it to place it into the car?

I'm assuming that you need to lengthen the wires, but i'm not sure.

Any advice would be nice. Thanks in advance.

BTW, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it at all.
No one is perfect in this world.
