94 accord clutch problems got me stumped
I have a 94 honda accord that is pretty new to me. I have been driving it just fine and noticed today that it was a little difficult to shift gears. I parked it for a couple hours and now I have absolutly no pressure in my pedal. there is no leaks at all not even a drop under my car what is the problem???????

Clutch Slave Cylinder (easiest to inspect) mounted on the transmission bell housing.
Clutch Master Cylinder; mounted on the firewall (left-most of two)
Clutch pipe.
You may be able to regain some functionality by refilling the master cylinder, but you've a leak which requires repair.
The M/C is the more common failure.
Once you get it sorted, have the system flushed. This all came about because no one ever changed the clutch fluid.

thats whats weird there is no fluid loss anywhere and it was working just fine this morning. what is the little reservoir for thats mounted on the firewall
Left on is for the clutch
Right one is for the brakes
There is another condition which could render your master cylinder inop without developing a leak.
Internal corrosion which damages the piston bore, rendering the cylinder unable to develope any pressure. This is called internal bypass. the piston's lip seal can't seal because the cylinder wall is no longer smooth.
Check both M/C's for fluid

okay well the smaller reservoir was empty and I filled it but it doesn't hold much fluid. I tried bleeding the clutch and just fluid came out no bubbles. and still no pressure. if it was empty I should be getting some air shouldnt I ?
You'll have to have someone keep pumping the pedal while you loosen and tighten the bleeder screw; keep doing that til the pedal builds up pressure.

I had the same problem a few weeks back with my 92 accord. Bled it and could not get pressure. After close inspection of the master cylinder, I noticed the hydraulic house leading from the master cylinder has a factory clamp on it and it was not tight, basically was sucking in air to the line making it seem like it was the master was failing as well as letting out fluid, could not see the leak cause of the special covering the hose has. Put a new clamp on it since the factory one was shot, rebled the system and that worked for me.
