smoke a b20 civic?
ok, my buddy here insists that his gs-x turbo eclipse, with exhast and intake, will SMOKE a b20 powered civic. i say no way. i would prove him wrong, but don't have a b20 of my own... yet... hopefully, anyway, little help??
uhh...sorry bud...a stock b20 civic would get killed by a GS-X...maybe a fully built b20VTEC could put up a could fight..but hands down the GS-X would win over a stock b20...
really, bummer, howabout crvtec? (just swapped)
Well, I dont know if this will help.
But I had a straight B20 with an ITR tranny in an EG.
I beat a STOCK 97+? GSX like it was nothing. All the way through the 1/4 and on top end. It was silly.
The Power plant is half the factor. The tranmissions makes up another factor too.

i was at my track on day and there was a CRX with a FULLY BUILT B20VTEC - that **** was freakin bad *** he said he was going to 9500 RPM - his best run of the night was a 12.7@ like 112 or something like that i dont remember the exact trap speed - but i've also seen a GSX that same night run a 13.3 with intake exhaust...so i think a B20VTEC(fully built) would beat a GS-X...

ok i love my honda but those damn GSX's and GST's are bad *** cars. If you're racing the GSX try to catch him rolling cause that 4-wheel drive is no joke. Chances are if you take it from a launch he will jump about 4 cars on you and i highly doubt you will ever catch up. If it's stock you could probably give him a run but once he puts a 3inch exhaust forget about it. My buddy has a GST with a 3 inch exhaust and a clutch with drag radials and he beat me by about a car and a have a 92 4dr civic with a jspec b18c with almost every bolt on.
