I mentioned this in my build but nobody replied to it. Where can i find rings and bearings for an h22a online? The local honda dealer wants $900 for the combo... yes, just rings, not the pistons.
Also, is Nippon OEM honda? Kind of curious because i keep seeing Nippon rings that are made in Japan for about $40 a set. ACL bearings are all i can seem to find. Probably going to end up picking those up.

Use www.bernardiparts.com Their prices are only slightly higher than Majestic Hond (hondaautomotivepart.com) and they ship to Canada. Use only Honda rings (this is important!) and highly recommend you use Honda bearings as well because ACL are a one size fit all deal.
if your gonna replace the rings why not bump up the compression a little and get new pistons?
and for the berings you might be able to find aftermarket ones that are better for about the same\less
check http://thmotorsports.com/ for berings, they ship to canada and have good prices.

Thanks, and thanks for clearing up the ACL issue. I was not aware they were one size fits all.
