Hey guys, i have a 2002 LX manual tranny. currently not running, this guy before me said he swapped out the wiring under the dash and put in a new PCM. in my haynes manual it says there are 4 plugs that go into the PCM, but i only have 3 plugs. Is this right? could it be that the manual tranny has one less plug?

What I fear is this guy swapped out the wiring and then got a PCM that would fit, and now it is the wrong PCM and the wrong wiring harnesses under dash.

any manual civic will have 3 plugs, 1 gray 2 white
any auto civic will have 4 plugs, 1 gray 3 white

and did he have the immobilizer reflashed by the dealer after he put the new ecu in?
otherwise the motor will crank but will not start. and the green key light will flash on the gauge cluster.

if thats your case, you will have to tow your car to any honda dealer and pay $180 for a immobilizer reflash and the car will start.

thats the only thing i can think of since you mentioned that a new ecu was installed.
