Default Problems after intake EURO R manifold install

I have a Euro R intake manifold with EGR block off plate, currently using a throttle without fast idle valve, with a Hondata intake manifold gasket. FIRST PROBLEM, my car idles very low when it is cold, so I have to rev it up. After 3-5 minutes, it idles at ~700-900 rpm. SECOND PROBLEM, my car is smoking pretty bad from my exhaust. I'm losing approximately 5mpg after installing the intake manifold. My car is currently not tuned, but planning to tune it in a few months. Any recommendations will be appreciated, thanks

the low idle when its cold is becuase you arent using a FITV. also try putting the EGR back on, see if it stil smokes..

You can't have a high cold idle without the FITV. I lost about 3mpg with my Euro R install. You'll just have to live with it untill you get it tuned. I got 23mpg with my Euro R manifold when I was getting 26 before. Right now with Hondata S300 and some street tuning I'm getting about 25mpg.

^^ that's interesting you lost mpg without the FITV. I'v been living without mine for a couple weeks now and it kinda sucks with winter startup. doesn't want to stay running.

I didn't think an S2K TB on a stock ECU gave it problems?

I don't think the s2k TB's have fitv built in do they? I'm pritty sure the OBD2 TB's dont have it. I'm running a Professional Products 68mm ITR style.
