I want to order some lowering springs for an accord I just picked up ... it's a 95 V6 Accord but I'm wondering if the springs are the same for the V6 and the 4 cylinder version ... you know, being a little heavier?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I may be wrong but I believe the difference between the V6 and the I4 is that the V6 come with stiffer springs in the front (to compensate for the weight) but the same springs in the rear.
choose model : accord
select year : 1995
select trim level : 4 dr ex v6 or 4 dr ex (to compare the two)
select emissions/transmission type : kl 4at (california)
select system\component : front shock absorber
you can also enter you VIN as well

call up your local performance shops and ask if they can get you some lowering springs for your 95 v6 accord
or heres an easier way:

i'd go w/ Eibach or NeuSpeed or even Tanabe ...all good stuff..try and stay away from the cheap no name ebay springs...they are cheap for a reason...
i'd also change the struts w/ good quailty ones as well, such as kyb's or koni's
dont use the old struts!
horsepowerfreaks.com is pretty cool as well..lots of options...just to give you an idea..

yeh no cheapys for me .. my girl will be driving the car mostly so I'll get her something good and safe
thanks!

thanks!
almost forgot...
you might also want to invest in a camber kit and an alignment after you lower that accord, so you dont wear out the tires faster than normal..
I made the mistake of putting some 4cyl Tein's on my 95 accord V6. Slammed is an understatement, I could barely roll the car around in my garage.
