broken gsr casing

Default broken gsr casing

Would all the gsr internal fit in a ls case? Anything I shoul look out for?

everything i know about it says it will work. i have a 92 LS trans with a GSR 4.4 and ITR LSD.
all 92+ are the same internally.

Diff bearings won't. Must use GSR forks if you use the GSR gears.

So I have to use ls diff bearings and are you talking about the clutch fork?

If you use LS diff bearings you have to get creative, not something for someone who doesn't build trannys. Shift fork.

Yeah. But the diff bearings won't. You'll need to swap the shims and outer races then reshim if you want to use the GSR diff and bearings (assuming it still has the tapered bearings). If you want to switch over to the enclosed bearings you'll need to order new enclosed bearings for a GSR/ITR and reshim the diff.
