Default 18x8.0 tyre stretch????

I'm currently deployed and need help getting some info on this tyre stretch im tryin to do on my 96 Civic EJ8. The rim of choice is the Axis Decade 18x8.0 but of course im gonna slam it on coilover, rolled fenders and camber it. I cannot currently access tyrestretch.com to get an idea of a good tyre combo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yup. 18" is too large a diameter, and 18x8 is too wide, for your '96 Civic. If you like, you can get 205/40-17 tires on 17x7 rims.

And don't mount tires onto rims that are wider than the widths approved for your tire size. It's UNSAFE.
