Default Fuel issue

lately my car has started to stall. When I give it gas it will accelerate very slowly and not increase with pressure on the pedal. i'll press harder...harder....harder.... and all of a sudden it will surge and I'll go shooting forward.

Are you sure it is fuel? Have you checked the spark plugs/distributor? Maybe a clogged intake system?

clogged intake..? are you talking about EGR system?

i agree it sounds more like ignition system issues. if you don't know the last time you did cap/rotor, plugs and wires now's the time.

I'm wondering if you're issue is similar to the one I'm having lately. I've posted the problem in another thread, but might we both be having similar issues?

https://honda-tech.com/forums/showthread.php?p=40371932

Specifically, I'm mentioning this in regards to Drivability Issue 2 in the above link. I did plugs about 30,000 miles ago (Bosch Platinums), and changed to a newer set of wires (not brand new though). My '92 kicked the code 43 momentarily which I why I was thinking fuel/emissions too.

Thanks!
