Icon2 P06 / P72 ECU compatability (quick)

Title explains it. I searched, there's no clear answer.
I just want to use a P06 ECU in a GSR to see if it cures the limp mode.

I know there's no Vtec & IAB support, that's fine, I'm more concerned about the harness. Does it need to be rewired, or am I good to plug & chug?

it should plug in and work as long as they are both obd1. I thought i heard of an obd2 p72 ecu but that might be BS. are you in limp mode due to the ecu? weird.

What year and are they both either obd1? Isn't the P06 a civic ECU? I would not try to run that on a B18. The fuel and timing maps are not going to be correct. Does the P72 give any codes?

seems like he just wants to test it to see what will happen. the p06 should be ok for that

Thewrai6th, the only way I'd run a stock P06 is if I had a stock DX to go with it, heheh

Yeah code 3. Traced the MAP lines, connections & readings are good (power signal is a little low, 4.5v), but I don't think the ECU is translating. I bypassed the chip, although I set the stock basemap on it.

I'll give this a shot, thanks errbody
