i was wondering what the best place to buy honda trans parts.

preferably like shift forks and sleeves?

i have b16 S4C trans, just for info

 

hondaautomotiveparts.com if you're not in a hurry. If you need them now, eat it and get them from your local dealer. If you can wait a bit but not 2 weeks then you can get them from Synchrotech (HAP doesn't ship until they receive all of the parts for your order, when I order sleeve sets from them it takes about 2 weeks for me to get the order).

 

I get them in the next day from the local Honda warehouse. I don't retail trans parts, but that's always a possibility. Usually ends up being a few% more after markup than HAP, but much quicker.

lets say i need a 3-4 sleeve set for a hydro gsr trans. where would i go to order it, or will the set for a 99-00 si work for all b series trans?

 

B16A2 and B18C are the same. B18B is different.

Can order from Honda or Acura.

If you go to Acura, be sure to order for a ITR if you order any gears.

 

Thanks for the info. Im sort of surprised that someone hasn't made a post on where to buy Honda and Acura trans parts and put it in the faqs. It blows that the nearest Acura dealer is over an hour away from me. I like just ordering the parts i need online, but am not sure where to go if i were to need parts that are only available from Acura. I've tried links from other threads, but most no longer work, or they don't offer trans parts which always seem so damn expensive going straight to a dealer for lol.

p.s. does it bug anyone else that the automatic spell check on here always thinks that your spelling Acura wrong lol.

I think thats a good idea. i resently got passed onto synchrotech transmissions by aquafina
ordered a rebuild kit and recieved it in 4 days here in ireland. Half the price of the euro dealer prices.
