H22 guys, are you using the prelude or accord intake?
I was just wondering which intake you guys were using. Im still using my Accord AEM cold air intake, but is it a big difference bettween using the accord vs the lude one? I believe, 2.5" compared to 3". Also, are there any fitment issues? Thanks
3" is what you should use. doesnt really matter if its aem. its best if its one piece and smooth. ive heard of accord guys using the 97+ prelude aem (which is 3") and it fitting fine.
alot of people use the h22 intake for the f22/23 as well it just flows better than the smaller one. It would help if the throttle body and intake manifold were larger as well though.
I made a cold air out of three inch 1/8 inch thick plastic pipe. I melted where I needed bends and made it work. Very pimp looking cause I painted it the color of the car.

im currently using the 3''aem (h22) intake on my f22, and i sold my other (ghetto-fab) 2.5'' one and i felt a lil loss in power, i have 2.5'' cat back also, so i suppose large diameter piping everywhere, and my car lost a lot of its potential, but its okay because it keeps giving me problems.....but i wasnt disappointed, because my new engine will be here in the states very shortly!!!
Im using the accord CAI , it fits great, but im sure like the others are sayin that its better ito use a 3'' one. i think the accord one is 2.5. right?. but the accord one does fit
