FS: 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon
I don't know if this is going to sell on here buy i'll give it a try anyways!
I'm selling my 98 Legacy because i'm trying to thin down the cars that I have. For starters, it's a 1998 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon with 203,xxx miles on it. The car has been maintained religiously for its whole life, and I have almost all the paperwork to show for it.
1998 Subaru Legacy Outback Wagon (203,xxx miles on car):
-Cold Air Intake
-SPT Axle-back Exhaust
-Momo Shift ****
-RAZO Aluminum Grip Pedals
-Perrin Lightweight Crank Pulley
-Sony CD Player
-2 Pioneer Front Speakers
-2 Polk Momo Rear Speakers
-15% Tint All Around
-Panda Paint Job done 06-2008.
-Debadged Hatch
-JDM Sidemarkers
-JDM Projector Headlights
-JDM GTB Touring Wagon Grille
-Custom Yellow Factory Foglamps
-Tein Wagon Master Coilovers (rebuilt at 180,000 according to previous owner)
-Brembo O.E. Rotors (Installed at 188,000)
-Satisfied Semi-Metallic Pads (Installed at 188,000)
-Refurbished 2.5RS Front Brake Calipers (Installed at 188,000)
-Timing Belt replaced at 105,000 miles.
-Clutch Replaced with Exedy at 115,000 miles.
-Head Gaskets and associated seals and gaskets replaced at 125,000 miles.
-Balljoints replaced at 145,000 miles.
-Radiator Replaced along with spark plugs, radiator hoses, thermostat, valve cover
gaskets, tube seals, and intake manifold gaskets(due to leak) 10-2008.
-Firestone Winterforce 205/70/15 tires installed on O.E. wheels 11-2009.
-General Exclaim UHP 205/55/16 tires installed on Legacy GT wheels 04-2009.
-A/C Recharged and No Leaks found 04-2009.
-Replaced front oxygen sensor 08-2009.
This car is in overall really good shape for its age and mileage. The only two problems that stand out in my mind is that the fuel gauge reads about 1/4 of a tank low and the shifter has the famous "shifter wobble". I believe that the legacy uses 2 fuel tank
level sensors, so one of them is probably reading inaccurately. The car will come with both sets of wheels and tires (which have no more than 5,000 miles on each set). The winter wheels will need to be re-painted. I am asking $3,200 for this car. Come and check this car out!!

Yes, it is the DOHC ej25. I wouldn't be worried about the miles. The car has been maintained very well its whole life.
I'm not worried about them either, I know subarus. I'm just letting those who don't know them, or might be scared of the high miles that lower mileage swaps are easy to find, and cheap if someone needs that piece of mind.
