umm, I call BS. lol

Holy **** is right.

n2o cant even do that to a plug. I think you have some foreign material in that cylinder.

That definitely looks like mechanical damage to me. Just 1 spark plug you say? I would agree, pulling the head may be a good move. I would have immediately jumped on foreign material (as THC07 stated).

otherwise. timing or lean condition are the only other things that could ahve caused something that bad/

Now that it is mentioned, preignition can really f-up a plug. Lean conditions (i thought) would burn too hot and 'blister' the plug.

Is it possible that 1 plug had a different heat rating versus the others?

no, thats not something that just happen all at once, unless it was a foreign object.
timing and/or lean condittions take time to do something like that.

Heat rating will not do that to this extent. period!

man thats odd. Im still sticking to something snmacking that plug.

Ive melted plugs with N20 many times, and they dont even get that bad before they quit working.

Then it's back to something inside the cylinder then. Are you absolutely sure that nothing could possibly be in that cylinder h22 kid?

I don't think it really matters but, which cylinder was it?

yea, either way, you have to pull the head. there is going to be some leftovers of that plug sitting ontop of that piston

im positive. it was in cylinder 4 the one closest the the gears! im going to pull the head off tomorrow and make sure the cylinder didnt hit the spark plug. im going to inspect the piston and clean out all the debris. while my head is off im going to fix that spark plug hole because the thread is trash. gonna port and polish the head, valve job, put my high compression valves in there and my s2p3's while its out and sell my s2p2's

I'm so sorry... That sucks. If I were to guess, was that due to a valve stem snapping?

from the looks of this i would say those valves couldnt handle the pressure. i should have installed my high comp valves when i had the chance. oh well live and learn the stupid way. thanks though
