Default 01-03 front conversion

im looking to change it to 04-05 just because it looks nicer.

parts im going to be getting are 04 projector headlights, 04-05 cf hood, 04-05 aftermarket fenders, and a stock 04-05 front bumper.

i saw in the facts that it says something about a radiator support. i looked on ebay and was wondering if this is what it meant?

U need a 04-05 radiator support since ur changing the front end around. U can do the whole swap on about 300 dollars before paint with parts from certifit.com. They won't ship to residential but u can buy from their warehouse.

Id like to do this!! Are the radiator supports welded in like all the older ones (ef,eg,ek).. Never had my bumper off? $300 is a pretty good price.. Is that with the rad support too?

It'd be cheaper to buy used OEM parts with matching paint. Or did you plan on painting it, yourself?

OEM > Certifit

Certifit isn't horrible, but it's nowhere near OEM fitment quality.

I hear mixed feedback. Some say it fits fine while others complain about gaps all over the place.

There's always the possibility that it is the fault of the person installing the parts rather than poor manufacturing.

I have an 03, is it really worth it to change to 04 or 05? They both look nice but I'm not sure if that should be enough reason to do it.

they have good and bad fitting products. by buddy swapped his 96 civic to a si front end. hood and fenders fit fine but the bumper is just 1/2 an inch short by the wheel wells.

well, people pay $100-$150 for a lip then another $100 to get it painted. the total cost of a 04-05 rear bumper would be around the same price as a rear lip. i personally like the subtle look of the 04-05 bumper. i guess if you're really trying to save money, you can sell your old bumper for some cash too.
