Default carbonetic twin disc clutch

anybody running one in their B-series? Just wondering how much power you're making and how it's holding up. I talked to a rep for them today and he told me they are mot meant to be slipped so he wouldn't recommend it for drag racing unless you just drop the clutch and go. Anybody having problems with their's on the strip? He said slipping the clutch could warp the metal floater plates.

Paul

With about 750whp we noticed after 5,000 miles of street driving and ~30 passes that the discs were beginning to crack fairly substantially.

However engagement on these clutches is sooo damn nice, and the nasty rattle found with the ceramics isn't there.

Smoother engagement and Less rattle is the only "pro" i see with them.

Yes, substantial cracking.

Nooo, We've only run an auto in the rx7.

It was in a personal vehicle. Honda power! haha.

We've put them in a few different cars. For something like a civic i don't think they are worth the money.

I'd probably stick with the comp... Especially for the price difference.
