Default HIDs in headlights and fogs

Is it a good Idea? will it strain any electricals? does it look decent with OEM headlights?

theres a lot of info out there, the main problem is the light scatter from not having projector headlights. Some retro fit them in their headlight housing. Others do not. I recomend not getting the brightest if your using the stock headlight housing and all of that. Get one of the lowest levels and it will still be plenty bright.

Hids use less power the holegon when they are fully warmed up, but when you first turn them one they use way more.

I say you will be fine, plenty of peoople have them. Including a few that I know and they are fine. Stick to 35 watt. Just do your best to aim them low

Light is still going to scatter every. Check out the retro fit club in the lighting section, I have hids and they are to bad. But a retro would be way better

My friend actually did this on his nissan pathfinder. It looked nice. He put 8000k HID's in his headlights and 3000k in his fogs. It looked legit

With 4300 HIDs for the headlights and fogs & silverstars for high beams? does this sound like a good option?

go for it! i miss mine. had HID fogs, but one of em went out. I didn't want to spend the money for another HID set, i bought a pair from CarpartFreaks in the marketplace. I have no complaints but my were yellow but bright enough to drive with them and my markers on.... shines the whole road. I used to have 4 HID converter boxes before now just 2 and as long as you don't have a crappy batter you should have no problems. My buddy has an 08 TSX and his hid fogs look ill. If you got the cash get, but do it right, you get what you pay for.

if you want your light output to look like a high end car, the TYC with ebay pnp kits will leave you disappointed. Go to a junk yard, and do a proper retro. You will be very pleased. I retroed my fog lights (well it's more of a fully custom job), and I can see everything with just those on, (not to mention I mounted them upside down). When I flip them over, it'll be much better, with a solid cutoff line. Cost me like 50 for the pnp kit and some metal to make brackets, got the housings for...umm... free.

i wondnt, i threw a set a tyc with a hid kit in mine for about a day, and it wasnt even a increase from other lights. and i got high beams flashed almost every car that drove by me.
i aimed my halegons the best i could and about 1 time every two weeks someone will flash me, but only on resedentail streets, make sure you aim them right....

i will never use silverstars again, sure they are bright, but they dont last at all.
