during some spiritited driving this happened






took the head in to the machine shop and they said its fixable with some money. the block is ok but will need to be bored. crank is a-ok.

Its ok this is just the excuse i needed to finish my k swap parts, round up.

kinda bummed at the time it happened but I am selling all salvageable parts and moving on.

kswap is the next step for me.

Floated a valve on Cylinder #3? I take it you over-rev'd on your stock valvetrain..

LOL, nothing at all. Felix is an old friend of mine. Nothing against it at all. Just stirrin **** up. Looks good but get rid of that hideous ABS modulator.

 

haha, he is an old fart. I planned on removing ABS entirely but I'm so excited about the kswap. That uglyness can wait. Hows your build coming along?

 

Its been done since March, well, got tuned recently. Come out to MSR in December 6-7.
