Default ECU question

93 honda hb CX
I recently put a DX engine, I was wondering if I need to change ECU or would the CX ECU be fine. I can't remember what ECU i got but I think I have the rare one like P09 plus I also tried to put a P05 CX the newer version but it's throwing codes.

You need a P06. Why would you have another ECU in there other than a P05 (the P09 or whatever you have)?

Except for the fact that his car and engine are OBD1, and the P2T is OBD2. And the fact that the P2T ECU is for the B16A2, when he's trying to run a SOHC non-VTEC 1.5 liter D15B7 engine. So in reality, using a P2T ECU would put him in a worse off position than he is now, even with the mystery OBD1 ECU.

P09 is the stock ECU for the 1st version of CX, then later it came out with P05's
