So i want to baffle my oil pan on my motor. Over the last 4 years of owning my preludes i have noticed during hard cornering, mainly hard lefts to rights over and over (not necessarily that order), that the oil pressure drops. I want to try and help this problem out by adding a baffle to my oil pan.
I was curious what everyone thought of the moroso h22 oil pan design? I was considering simply cutting my own metal out and having a friend weld the baffle in my oil pan for me. Here is what the design looks like for those who do not know.

I was looking at different designs for the B and K series as well and they all look very similar. I know i have seen other baffle designs and was wondering what the advantages to different designs are as well.

Are you sure that is an H22 pan? The Moroso H22 pan I had was made out of sheet metal aluminum with a kick out around the sump, and it required a new sump also by Moroso. It's a pan made for drag racing, as it only had one trap door on the backside of the pan.
This is the pan I had (before I returned it) http://www.moroso.com/catalog/catego...?CatCode=12118
We welded in a rudimentary baffle in an H22 pan, but it didn't make a difference. A pan with vertical baffles and trap doors would work best.

I was fairly sure since the photo came from a site selling them, i guess it was a generic picture
I know this is alot to ask but would you be able to draw in ms paint what you just described? I am having a hard time understanding how you would make vertical baffles, as well as a trap door. Sorry for the noobness on this matter, i just really want to figure something out for during hard cornering. Kind of losing hope too since you would definately be one of the go to guys on this matter and from the sounds of it you haven't figured out a solution that work lol. That is just an assumption based on your reply, i'm assuming you have not tested the theory of the baffle you suggested.

You can tell that's not an H22 pan, as it doesn't have the dip in the flange like the OEM pan.
Trap doors:

Honestly, I overfill my oil a bit, and I haven't had any trouble, even with 1.1+ G cornering measured via a datalogger.
