Default My New DSM

So, I had a 86 Accord LXI, but i missed my old baby so much, so I got this.

Its a OG DSM. Which means it was one of the first few to be made in January 1989, mine is Number 5805, which considering they made 90k DSM's (Eagle Talons, Plymouth Lasers, Eagle Talons) in 1989, that's a pretty early one made.

Its a 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 1.8L 4G37 N\A 5 Speed
I traded it for my LXI

Here's the mods. It's hell of a deal I thought

* Rebuilt Motor
* Bored 0.020 Over
* 10:1 Compression (Stock is 9:1
* Custom Sort throw shifter
* Open Air Box Mod (basically Cold Air intake made with stock parts)
* Gutted MAF
* A\C Deletion
* Premium AC Delco Plugs (AC Delco is best off brand ever, they are only * off brand because they are not well known, but have the same quality of plugs as NGK or BOSCH)
* 4g63 Cam Gear (It's little more then half the weight of the 4G37 Cam Gear)
* Ported Head, and Throttle Body
* Exhuast Manifold Flow work
* Forged Pistons
* Imperfection Removal on Crank + Rods
* GS Side Skirts
* GSX OEM Wing
* Aftermarket Fog Lights
* Stage 2 Clutch

Favorite thing about the car is everything is OEM as far as Interior and Body, Including the Short throw because all it is, is a shortened OEM shifter. Even the radio is OEM. It's not as fast as my 1.8L Turbo that I had, but its still pretty quick, a little slower then the LXI, but it also weighs more. I'd Est 120-125+ WHP.

Heres more Pics

If your talking about body wise, then yes. except a carbon fiber hood + Front lip + and a new paint job (red). otherwise everything else aftermarket for the body is hardcore ricer **** when it comes to 1G DSM's

It would have been faster, but I can always turbo this one like i did my old one, The stock turbo DSM's or 4g63T DSM's generally have alot of problems too. I'm already paying 137$ a month on insurence for this and this is the base model. Turbo model would be 190$ a month for me (AWD Turbo model would be 212$). Also, This is a Daily Warrior. I drive it daily back and forth to school and work, but also take it out on the weekend nights.

would almost have to be under his dads name or the car is paid off and its just on liability but that would be insane to do on any car worth over 5k IMO
