89 Lude wit a bad fan i think???
So I just picked up a 1989 Lude an am planning on maken it my first import project car.Now ive never delt wit electric fans before. (saying that most ol chevys dont have em) Any ways after the car is off my driver side fan runs till it drains the batt. an was wondering if theres an inline sensor somewhere thats bad or if its a computer problem an can possibly hook it up to a reader an see if it has an error code an erase it But as soon as i turn the key to acces it stops..Anyone got any ideas what so ever???
no real body control on honda's til like... 2003+.
if you are used to domestic then you will be happy to know honda doesn't do all that overblown overcomplicated bullshit.
(although there is one annoying thing about those specific cars with the a/c, but we can save that for another time)
there is no scanner ports on honda until 92/93, and even those have nothing to do with the fans.
here is something to get you started.

the timer is in the right kick panel, it will most likely say fan timer on it. i would open that first and check for any green.
i haven't messed with those older auto fan cars in a while, so i can't think of any real direction to point you to atm.
