is thermal axle-back exhaust a good choice for my 98' ITR?
also, i was thinking of getting a test pipe off of testpipe.com, what are your thoughts? if so, what size should i get to use with stock piping?.....2,2.25,2.5????

my friend has an thermal axel back on his 98 cw itr and it sounds goos but there is a guy on the ht board that in his signature has for testpipes.com so i dont know about the test pipe but for the thermal

 

Im actually selling my thermal axel back for my 98 type R. It sounds really nice. A nice deep tone. Not obnoxiously loud at low rpms during casual driving but at the same time, very nice a deep sounding at full throttle. I love how it sounds. I put about $4000 miles on it and it is in perfect condition. I will sell it to you for $200. They go for $350 plus new. This one is basically new with $4000 miles. Let me know if you are interested. well it doesnt help much unless you get the catback --- the people from testpipes.com were great to me, and my product works well.

 

just get a cat if you are going to drive on the streets!!!! we have enough pollutors out there with their damn SUV's with only themselves as passengers

My testpipe from testpipe.com wasn't very good. It wasn't flaired enough for the header so it didn't seal properly. In less than a year the cat material for the OBDII fell out. Only good thing is that it was cheap.

 

do you have any sound clips of the thermal on your type-R?
i would love to hear some before i make any desicions on which exhaust to buy
