I was wondering if the stock LCAs on a 98 Civic DX can support a front sway bar or would I need to change them for the EX front LCAs? Thanks.

possible..? maybe, if you have a drill press, a sharp bit and some time (they're pretty thick).

i think it's a terrible idea though. it would weaken them significantly and not really line up so well with the links.

the EX LCAs [IIRC] have a tab coming off the back side that the links mount to. they shouldn't be hard to find in a junkyard or the forum marketplace, no reason to try to "ghetto"-modify what you can buy.
