98 civic EX front sway bar fit 98 civic DX?

Default 98 civic EX front sway bar fit 98 civic DX?

im wondering if i get a 98 ex front sway bar will it just bolt up to my 98 dx? what would i need? do i need different LCAs?id like a list of parts id need to do this.Would a 2000 si front sway bar fit the same? 98 ex sway bar is 22mm si is 26mm.

Should go right on if you dont already have one. Just make sure you have all the right hardware.

DXs dont come with any sway bars. I want to make sure that i get everything to do it once

The front LCA's have the mounting point. All you need is the swaybar, endlinks and hardware (nuts and bolts)

Yeah, on DX and CX models they don't so you need to get the front lcas from swaybar equiped model like an ex or si for this to work.

I'm not sure but I think that all eg/eh have the same front lca, so I think that with those, if you have all the hardware, you can just bolt it on.

i just went an checked my LCAs and i dont have the hole for the sway bar and i check part number and the are different so i do need LCAs.

Right. Only the EX and Si trims have the correct LCAs from the factory.

Also, for an Si swaybar, you need different front shock forks because of the curvature of the swaybar.

For a Si bar you need Si lower control arms (and shock forks already mentioned), for a EX bar you need EX lower control arms. I would stay away from Si LCAs, because they lack mounting points for traction bars
