d15b7 head gasket failed again
This isn't the first time doing one of these so I'm pretty confident I didn't screw up.
I used the new MLS style gasket and new head bolts, following the revised torque specs. Also checked flatness with a good straight edge, thoroughly cleaned old gasket off.
I'm still getting exhaust in my cooling system.
That said, has anyone actually encountered a cracked head on this engine?
Guess I'm gonna pull it apart again and take the head to the shop and have it machined/pressure checked.
