Hi! I was wondering if the valve covers the same from the 92-00 civics?

It depends. I know that d16z6, d16y8, and I believe d16y7, and d16y5 valve covers are interchangeable.

I know that some of the other ones are not. They're definitely not if they have the sparkplug wells on the opposite side. As far as I know, all of the d16y engines, as well as the z6 have sparkplugs coming out of the front of the valve cover. Most of the older nonvtec engines have sparkplugs coming out of the back of the valve cover and are not compatible.

Which engine/valve cover are you talking about?

I meant to say 92-00 civic ex valve cover in the 01-05 models

would it work? I dont think it would but I would like to know also.
